Who We Are

Business owners do not need another credit card processor promising the “lowest rate.” They need someone they can trust to help them understand where their money is going, why costs keep increasing, and whether they are truly getting a fair deal.

For more than 20 years in banking and since founding Schissler Certified Payments Consultants in 2014, Mark has helped business owners cut through the confusion of the electronic payments industry. Too many merchants have experienced misleading sales pitches, hidden fees, confusing statements, poor service, and the frustration of feeling trapped in agreements they do not fully understand.

That is why Mark built his company differently.

Instead of focusing on pushing products or chasing transactions, Mark focuses on educating and advocating for business owners so they can make informed financial decisions with confidence. His goal is simple: help merchants better understand their processing costs, identify unnecessary expenses, improve transparency, and provide support when problems arise — not just when contracts are signed.

What makes Mark different is not simply industry experience. It is the principles behind how he does business. Guided by the core values of his Catholic faith — honesty, stewardship, service, accountability, and treating people with dignity and respect — Mark believes business relationships should be built on trust, not sales pitches or pressure.

Business owners work hard for every dollar they earn. They deserve a partner who will answer questions honestly, explain things clearly, and stand beside them when issues arise. That commitment to integrity, education, and long-term relationships is the foundation of Schissler Certified Payments Consultants and the reason many business owners choose to work and stay with Schissler CPC.

What is the difference between B2C and B2B processing?

Business-to-consumer (B2C) processing typically supports retail, service, and other customer-facing transactions. Business-to-business (B2B) processing involves payments made with commerical, corporate, purchasing, or government cards with ACH options.

Eligible B2B transactions may qualify for Visa’s Commercial Enhanced Data Program (CEDP) when complete and accurate enhanced transaction data is submitted. Proper qualification may reduce interchange costs while providing businesses with more detailed transaction information for reporting and reconciliation.

What is enhanced payment data under CEDP?

Enhanced payment data includes additional traction details submitted with eligible commercial, corporate, purchasing, and government card transactions. Under Visa’s Commercial Enhanced Data Program (CEDP), complete and accurate enhanced data may help eligible transactions qualify for lower interchange costs while providing greater detail for reporting, reconciliation, and expense management.
